Capital projects Committee Rock Harbor Dredge
November 3, 2014
Attendees: Wally Adams, Member, Board of Selectmen Sheila Vanderhoef, Member, Town Administrator Mike Hackworth, Member, Finance Committee
Neil Andres, Public Works Superintendent
Sheila Vanderhoef called the meeting to order and Neil Andres gave a status update with the following salient points:
1) The dredging is progressing well and there are no known project issues.
2) Dock infrastructure (piles etc) are in good shape and with one exception will not be replaced.
3) Discussions concerning repair/replacement cif private docks continue.
4) There have not been any environmental issues encountered to date.
Members then discussed the dredging process and longer term options, as well as potential changes to the permitting of leased docks. The project is currently on time and budget without any known issues.
The meeting was adjourned after agreeing to meet in two weeks subject to need/progress of the project.
